-MEXICAN REVOLUTION AND POSTREVOLUTIONARY REPUBLICS-

<Revolutionary Coins>

<1 Centavo> <2 Centavos> <5 Centavos> <10 Centavos> <20 y 25 Centavos> <50 Centavos> <1 Peso (Liberty Cap)>

<1 Peso> <2, 5 y 10 Pesos>

The Mexican Revolution broke out in 1910 due to the Porfirio Diaz's dictatorship, and it remained throughout the first decades of the twentieth century. During it, several States of the Federation chose to have their ownmoney as they segregated on behalf of one of the belligerents.  This coins are known as the revolutionary ones.

The new Republic posterior to the Revolution is currently governing Mexico, with its official currency: the Mexican peso; whose examples are featured here.
